Hi there!

Thanks for checking out my kit. I’ve been extremely fortunate to have been a Community Manager now for over 7 years. It wasn’t a role I was expecting to do nor was it something I planned on being in for such a long time.

My story

I graduated from uni in 2014 with an undergraduate and post-graduate degree in neuroscience. I was aiming to become a researcher and at the time, I was working part-time at an online review website as a moderator.

As I was finishing up my post-grad, my manager’s role became available and I asked if I could fill in the role.

In retrospect, as a fresh uni graduate, I was not prepared to jump into full-time work let alone in a role that I had no clue about how to manage.

I don’t recommend doing something like this cold turkey but what I do recommend is learning to work past the anxiety of shooting your shot especially when it feels like the longest shot.

Several roles and dozens of clients later, I’m happy to say that I still have imposter syndrome but I’m confident in the suite of skills I’ve built over the years.

This is the kit I wish I had on hand when I first jumped into the deep end.

I hope it helps you <3
